day :: Arrival to Starigrad
Paklenica ::
If You are coming by airplane we will organize the transfer
from the airport
Split or Zadar
to the hotel. If You are arriving on Your own we will meet
in our hotel. Before dinner we will inform You about a programme
and make arrangements for the next day. |

2nd
day :: Plitvice
Lakes – National Park (granted UNESCO
World Heritage status) ::
The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes,
with the total height difference of 135m, inter-connected
by a series of waterfalls. There are numerous trails on
which to walk and hike whilst enjoying their murmur, and
there are also boat and shuttle bus services in order to
see the Park. We will have lunch next to the largest lake
- Kozjak.

3rd day :: Velebit
– Nature Park ::
Velebit is the most popular mountain in Croatia. Our path
will lead us from the picturesque mountain village Baške
Oštarije to Ljubicko brdo, Kuk od Karline Plane, Medvjedi
kuk, Prpic polje, Debela Kosa… Very colourful area
surrounded by numerous rocks – locally called "Kukovi"
and small valleys – "dulibe". Lunch - picnic.
Transfer: 1.15 h + 1.15 h.

4th
day :: Paklenica National Park ::
The rivulet Velika Paklenica cut a very deep gorge into
Velebit mountain and created the most popular climbing site
both for free-climbers and alpinists in the part of Europe.
We will hike in the canyon while listening to the rivulet's
song up to the abandoned village Jurline and then farther
to the climber's lodging Paklenica. We will have lunch in
a shadow of a lime-tree. We wil return down the canyon accompanied
by the sound of climber's gear on the surrounding rocks.
Transfer: 10 min. + 10 min.

5th day :: Krka
National Park ::
On this day we will be again in waterfalls realm, which
over 17 limestone cascades overflow into depth creating
a unique experience. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.
We will continue our travel to Split, where we will take
a ferry to Vis. A two-hour ride we enable us to enjoy in
the views of nearby islands, until arrival to Vis, on which
we will stay for 3 days.
Transfer: to the Krka NP 1 h, + 1 h to Split.
Climb: 220 m.

6th
day :: Biševo ::
A small tourist boat will take us to the small island of
Biševo, where we will visit a Mediterranean monk seals'
habitat - the famous Modra špilja (Blue Cave) by entering
it in a little fishing boat. After Cave viewing we will
hike over the island to the small Porat bay, in which our
boat will be (possible swimming). We will return to Vis
Town by boat – to the Barjaška bay and further
through wild rosemary macchia up to the famous fishing village
of Komia. Pleasant rosemary scent will be surrounding
us for several following days.
Transfer: minibus 10 + 10 min, boat ride 0.30 + 0.30 h

7th day :: Hum ::
Transfer to the highest island's peak Hum (564 m), which
offers unforgettable view of the village of Komia,
island of Biševo and islet of Sv. Andrija… We
will go on foot to Titova Špilja (Tito's Cave) and
further through the village of ena Glava, spacious
vineyards to the village of Plisko polje. Lunch will be
in a local winery. After lunch we will come down on foot
to Vis Town over glades covered by rosemary scent.
Transfer: minibus 15 + 10 min.
Climb: 130 m

8th
day :: Transfer to Korcula
::
After an early breakfast we will go by ferry to Split.
A local guide will take us on a tour in the old inner part
of the city, the Cellars of the Diocletian's Palace and
the Diocletian's Palace, Cathedral of St Dujam… After
lunch in a local restaurant we will take a catamaran for
Korcula and travel to the village rnovo, in which
we will stay next 4 days. |

9th
day :: Mljet
National Park ::
This day is scheduled for visit to the green and unspoilt
Mljet National Park on the island of the same name. The
boat will take us to Pomena bay, from which we will continue
on foot to the two interconnected saltwater lakes - Veliko
Jezero and Malo Jezero and belvedere Montokuc, enjoy a spectacular
tidal shift under Mali most which connects the lakes, travel
by boat to the centre of the larger lake to the exquisite
St Mary's Island crowned by a Benedictine Monastery …
Lunch – a picnic near the lakes.

10th day :: Korcula Riviera ::
During afternoon we will be taken on a sightseeing tour
around Korcula Town by tour guide. We will have lunch in
a local tavern. After lunch we will visit Korcula Archipelago
by boat, set ashore of the islets Vrnik, Badija, Stupe ...
walk on them or have a swim

11th
day :: "Defora" tour ::
On this day we will visit three picturesque bays, Bratinja
Luka, Pavja Luka and Orlanduša –commonly called
Defora. The allure of swimming into deeply cut bays with
beautiful beaches and crystal-clear sea is simply irresistible.
We will have lunch on a homestead.

12th
day :: Dubrovnik
::
Firstly by ferry and then by minibus we will reach Dubrovnik.
Led by a local guide we look around this jewel of Croatia,
best known for its well-preserved historic centre, its terracotta
rooftops, and a stunning location overlooking the Adriatic.
We will have lunch in a local restaurant and afterwards
continue with sightseeing tour enjoying in Town's delightful
beauties walking on its 13th-century city walls. Then we
will take our minibus to Makarska
– a picturesque town situated in Biokovo's
„lap“.
Transfer: from Dubrovnik 2 h + to Makarske 2 h. |

13th
day :: Rašcane ::
Village inhabited by several dozens villagers had
in its past more than several thousand inhabitands. We will
walk through its history and its present, meet its rare
inhabitants and make "cakula" (small talk) with
them, turn the grindstone (ancient mill moved by hand),
try local aperitifs, dry figs, and wine from the wood. We
will try prosciutto ham and cheese next to the fireplace
on which it was smoked.…

14th
day :: This day we will spend in the
Biokovo Nature Park ::
We will enjoy from its peaks offering fabulous views out
over all island, which we visited in the previous days.
With one glance we will take in the whole Makarska Riviera,
coastal cities and towns from Split to Ploce, islands of
Vis, Brac, Hvar, Korcula, Mljet … We will hear the
story about Biokovo, which has still been "growing"
and about its abundance and variety of geological and biological
beauties…
