Active Holidays exists since 1994.
We are convinced that we are not just one in a row of similar
new agencies in this field.
Why?
Because we want to give an ordinary person, who is non-experienced
in encounters with natural beauties, insight in its magic. We
want to show him nature corners which he could hardly find alone,
those that cannot be seen behind the bus window.
Who
do we address to?
People who want to feel charms of picturesque landscapes outside
the urban areas.
What
do we offer?
We offer several different variants of programmes which can
be easily adjusted to everybody's needs. We can do it because
we are small and flexible. We are so flexible that we can make
adjustments also during the programme itself according to Your
personal needs. We can do it also because we work with small
groups and are in direct contact with our local partners.
Our programmes are not only hiking tours, but we will enjoy
with You in hiking through the most picturesque regions.
They are also not only cycling tours, but we will ride with
You along the most hidden paths.
They are also not only river trips, but we will paddle with
You merrily in the most colourful parts of our Karst rivers.
They are also not only sightseeing tours, but we will enjoy
viewing with You all sights of cultural interest.
Our programmes are not for lazy fellows, however, we are sure
that You will feel more rested after some time spent with us
than after spending two weeks in bed.
We will be together on foot, by bike, in a kayak, in a raft...
but at the end of the day we will always offer You a comfort
of a clean bed, hot shower, good domestic food.
With us, You will also have time to read a good book, have a
swim on some of the beautiful crystal blue beaches, meet the
locals and become a part of their everyday life.
The most important thing is that our programmes, we are completely
sure, will fulfil all Your expectations.
Accommodation
Accommodation is always organized in the pleasant and quite
hotels, small private boarding houses or clean and cosy homesteads.
We pay special attention to the fact that we want You to experience
friendly domestic atmosphere and to feel like a part of the
family, at which You are staying.
Food
We insist on delicious meals, made in accordance with the local
recipes from healthy domestic foodstuff, often grown in our
own gardens.
Transport
All transports are performed by comfortable and safe means of
transport. We use regular lines for sea transport, and if that
is not possible, we rent comfortable boats of high quality.
We use bus from our own car pool, and if we have to rent, we
take care that the vehicles are safe, comfortable, with air-conditioning,...
